We’ll be getting out and about around this lovely country of ours with a few gig dates coming up soon and later in the year! March sees us in the rolling Pentland Hills with a date in beautiful Biggar at the Clydesdale Folk Club. We’ll be seeing in May at Dunfermline Folk Club, and ushering in autumn at Falkirk Folk Club!

The band are raring to go for this week’s gig at Carlisle’s Old Fire Station. Really looking forward to this gig and a return to Carlisle – we have very happy memories of previous gigs in the area; both under our own steam and as a support act for The Proclaimers back in 2012.

As we say farewell to 2016, let’s look forward to 2017! Blueflint have got some lovely gigs lined up to start off the new year! On Monday 16th January, we’ll be at Soundhouse @ the Traverse in Edinburgh. We always love playing for Sound House – they put on a great programme of music in the capital, so get yourself along to the Traverse Bar on 16th!
Towards the end of the month, we’re south-bound for Carlisle to see some familiar faces and perform a gig in new arts venue The Old Fire Station. If you’re in that neck of the woods on Friday 27th January, we’ll see you there!

Clare and Deborah will play two more gigs for 2016 as Martha’s Parlour at Leith’s Woodland Creatures – this coming Wednesday 7th December and again on 21st. We’ll be back again in the new year for more performances at this absolute gem of a venue on Leith Walk! Yes folks, it’s goodbye to October and hello to wet and wild November! Tidy away your Halloween costumes, get your winter coats on and head down to Woodland Creatures, Leith tomorrow night – Weds 2nd November, 8.30pm to hear Martha’s Parlour play an intimate set of heart-felt songs and dark ballads, with a gusty handful of songs taken from Blueflint’s repertoire and a generous pinch of old-time tunes!
The leaves are hitting the pavements in Edinburgh, and Clare and Deborah are continuing a highly enjoyable residency at Woodland Creatures in Leith under the auspices of Martha’s Parlour. The duo are performing on the first and third Wednesday of every month and are back on Wednesday 19th October with more fine tunes!
