After some time out working on other projects, Blueflint are now back in action and we have gigs in the pipeline this year!
First up is a trip to Peterhead to the wonderful surrounds of Aden Country Park for a gig as part of the Music at Aden programme.

Blueflint will perform as part of the Barrelhouse’s Burns Night celebrations this coming Friday 25th January. The evening kicks off at 5pm and the band take to the stage later in the evening! Looking forward to seeing yer sonsie faces there!
Clare and Deborah will then perform at Martha’s Parlour at Porty’s Jaffle Joint on Sunday 27th January. Join us for an intimate gig of old-time, Bluegrass and alt folk tunes!
As 2018 draws to a close, you can catch Deborah & Clare in action as Martha’s Parlour at the very fine Espy Bar in Portobello on Sunday 30th December. We’ll be performing an evening of fine tunes and sublime harmonies from 6-8pm – see you there!
We’re delighted to be keeping it local in December with a return visit to Leith Folk Club. We’ll be hitting the stage at the Folk Club’s home at the Victoria Park House Hotel on Tuesday 11th December – start your Christmas celebrations early with some fine singing, harmonies and banjo tunes! Good Morning Fifers! Blueflint are playing unplugged, as a four piece at Dunfermline Folk Club this Wednesday, 14th November with the wonder that is Hugh Kelly on double bass and Jo Jeffries on fiddle! It will be cosy and intimate, just what you need on a cauld winters night in Fife!
Ah, it’s that wonderful time of year when there’s a chill in the air and the tree give us a feast for the eyes with their autumn hues! Blueflint will be giving you a feast for the ears, especially if you’re in the Dunfermline and Edinburgh areas this autumn! We’re looking forward to a return visit to Edinburgh Folk Club on Wednesday 10 October, and then heading over the Forth the following month for a visit to Dunfermline Folk Club on Wednesday 14 November.
Clare and Deborah will also be playing as a duo under the name Martha’s Parlour at Portobello’s Jaffle Joint on the last Sunday of each month. We’ll be playing sets of old-time and Bluegrass covers along with original material.
